Delete Your Prep Thamizha Account

This page explains how to delete your Prep Thamizha account and the data linked to it.
How to delete your account (in the app)
- Open Prep Thamizha and sign in.
- Go to the Me tab.
- In the Danger Zone, tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your account is paused for 2 days. If you change your mind, sign in again during this time and your account is restored. After 2 days it is deleted automatically, usually within 3 days of your request.
No access to the app?
Email prepthamizha@gmail.com from the email address you used to sign in, with the subject "Delete my account". We will process it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your profile (display name, device ID, selected exam)
- Your practice activity, bookmarks and streaks
- Any feedback you sent, including your email and message
- Your sign-in account (name, email and user ID in Firebase)
What is kept
- Purchase records (purchase token, product, plan, amount, exam and dates) with your user ID removed, for as long as accounting and tax rules require
- Google Play keeps its own billing records under Google's policies
- Our hosting provider may keep server logs for a limited time
If you never bought a plan, no purchase record exists.
Your subscription
Deleting your account does not cancel a Google Play subscription. Cancel it first in Google Play > Payments & subscriptions.
Delete only your practice data
Use Reset Progress in the Me tab. It deletes your attempts, bookmarks and streaks, and keeps your account.
